Nature of the Service

Van Buren County Released Inmates is a private reference site. It does not hold official records, file documents, decide custody, confirm a release, or act for any public office.

The site directs readers to Van Buren County jail records, Tennessee Department of Correction resources, and outside research tools. Access to records under the Tennessee Public Records Act, Tenn. Code Ann. § 10-7-503, remains subject to the originating custodian's rules and lawful exceptions.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the site lawfully and without harming other people or the service. You agree that you will not:

• Use the site while violating any law
• Use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person
• Rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
• Try to enter accounts, servers, or systems without permission

No Consumer Reports

Van Buren County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not provide consumer reports, credit reports, background checks, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. You agree not to use information obtained here for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions
• Tenant selection or any housing decision
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or government-benefit eligibility
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Links and Outside Services

Links may lead to release records, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, legal resources, or independent search tools. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control an outside site's content, privacy practices, data handling, price, or availability, so visitors should read that site's own terms.

Service Provided As Is

The website and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that:

• Information will be complete, accurate, or current
• The service will always be available without interruption
• The site will be free from errors, defects, or security weaknesses
• A partner search will return every relevant record

Custody data and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department, TDOC, a court, or another agency.
